Disclaimer Notice
Every effort has been made to ensure that the data on this website is correct. However, we do not assume responsibility for possible errors.
PartsCrossReference.com is not intended to be an engineering manual. Its prime function is to provide basic comparisons and interchanges, and to support blueprints and engineering data. The user must be aware of application requirements, and load-rating charts must be consulted for special needs. Every interchange listed here has been sanctioned by a manufacturer in their published information. Since some data appears to be contradictory, and dimensions and styles vary somewhat, we have attempted to show the best information available to us. The information contained in this guide is accurate to the best of our knowledge. However, due to the fact that the information has been collected from many different sources, we are not responsible for variances or misinformation obtained from these sources or for manufacturers revising or changing specifications of any part.
Note: Bearing manufacturers frequently omit suffix data from the markings on bearings, and extreme care must be exercised in the interpretation of cross-reference information published throughout the industry.
User Licensing
PartsCrossReference.com is available for single-users, or in a multi-user package for companies that want simultaneous access to the PartsCrossReference.com website for more than one person or employee. Search Page
To begin your search for cross-references, enter a part number or partial part number in the text box and click the search icon. If you want to search using the physical attributes of a part, use the Custom Query Editor (explained below).
Our proprietary “Group Numbers” are assigned by Interchange, Incorporated to organize equivalent, interchangeable parts. For example, all flanges in group FL3280 should be interchangeable. You can use the group number to get up-to-the-minute data from the web site.

Bearings
When searching for part numbers starting with zero, also check the letter “O.” When searching for part numbers starting with the number one, also check the letter “I.”
We have also organized similar types of parts together, to simplify searches.
- Ball Bearing Group Numbers start with the numeral “1.”
- Tapered Cone Group Numbers start with the numeral “2.”
- Tapered Cup Group Numbers start with the numeral “3.”
- Tapered Cone & Cup Assembly Group Numbers start with the numeral “4.”
- Straight & Curved Roller Bearing Group Numbers start with the numeral “5.”
Special Notes:
USA FSN bearing numbers have now added two zeroes in the 5th and 6th positions. For example, 3100-00-001-4689 is the same as 3100-001-4689.
EJ and ESJ prefixes on RBC needle bearings may be listed with E prefixes, representing internal design.
Tapered bearing groups with the notation "Chamfer Differs From Adjoining Group” refers to cones and/or cups that have identical dimensions and angles of taper, but having differences only in their chamfer or radius.
The notation "Taper Differs From Adjoining Group" is used when consecutive groups containing tapered cones and cups show identical dimensions, but with different angles of taper in their internal construction.
"Special Features" is a term used to designate some design difference between adjoining groups having the same basic dimensions.
Unground straight roller bearings have been put in the "ground" groups to conform to several interchange sources.
Mounted Units
When searching for part numbers starting with zero, also check the letter “O.” When searching for part numbers starting with the number one, also check the letter “I.”
Seals
When searching for part numbers starting with zero, also check the letter “O.” When searching for part numbers starting with the number one, also check the letter “I.”
Drive Belts
When searching for part numbers starting with zero, also check the letter “O.” When searching for part numbers starting with the number one, also check the letter “I.”
Filters
When searching for part numbers starting with zero, also check the letter “O.” When searching for part numbers starting with the number one, also check the letter “I.”
Prefix/Suffix
From the Prefix/Suffix Search page, you can learn about the prefixes and suffixes that manufacturers and distributors use to identify their parts. Typing entries into any of the four fields—prefix, suffix, brand, and description—will limit your search to records that match your entry. For example, typing “BCA” in the brand field will return all prefixes and suffixes used by BCA. Typing “BB” as a prefix will show you all prefixes that start with “BB.” If the text you type in the description field appears anywhere in the description, then it’s considered a match. For the other fields, your entry must match the beginning.
Search Results Page
When using the initial search page, and entering your full or partial part number, the next page shows the results of that search. The results are initially sorted in alphanumerical order. You can change the way they are sorted, by clicking on the column heading.
You can click on a part number or group number to see its interchanges.
If your search generates more than a single page of results, use the page forward/page backward bar at the bottom of the results page.
If your search generates too many results, try entering a more complete part number.
Note: You can edit and rerun your search without leaving this page.
Part Detail Page
The Part Detail page shows a series of part numbers that are interchangeable. It is usually the end result of a successful search.
The body of the page is the table of cross-references. Each interchangeable part number is shown, along with its brand. You can get more information about the brand by clicking on it.
If your search generates more than a single page of results, use the page forward/page backward bar at the bottom of the results page. You can also specify a brand at the bottom of the page to limit the search even further. The diagram (when available) is a generic drawing of the part. Dimensions are also shown.
Custom Query Editor
If you don’t know the part number, but know some of the dimensions or physical attributes of the part (like the inside or outside diameter of a bearing), use the Custom Query Editor to find your interchanges.
In Section 1, choose the information you want displayed on your results page.
In Section 2, focus your search as much as you can, using any information you have, in up to five (5) fields. Chose a Field from the drop-down box on the left, then choose the Operator you need (=, >, >=, <, <=, or LIKE) and fill in the information you know (a brand name, dimension, etc.) in the box marked Value.
The “LIKE” operator will give you bearing, seal, drive belt and mounted unit part numbers within .025” of your value; and filters within.250”. For example, if you choose the Inside Diameter field, LIKE as the operator, and fill in a value of 1.000”, your results will display all Bearings with an inside diameter between .975” and 1.025” (or Filters with an inside diameter between .750” and 1.250”).
If you have the first few numbers of a part (for example 611) and use the LIKE operator, your results will include all the “611” parts, and all of the parts that begin with those numbers (including “611438F”).
You can choose how the results are sorted. You can specify a primary sort, and a secondary sort.
If you want to save your custom query for future use, just check the box and type in a name of your choice.
Custom Query Search Results
The Custom Query Results page displays all the fields you requested in your Custom Query. If you want to change your query, use the Edit button in the upper right of your page.
On your Custom Query Results Page, click a part number or group number and a page of your interchanges will be displayed with dimensions and a drawing of the part (whenever available). There, you can also click on a brand name to learn more about the brand.
If you want to make a change to your query, use the Edit button in the upper right of the Results page.
